Yes and no.
There are 3 options here.
1 - If you have the source code, you can try and see if it will compile under linux, but don't count on it. You may be able to modify the source code, but I'm not sure it is workth it.
2 - Get an emulator. WINE is alright (www.winehq.com), but you just can't beat VMWare (www.vmware.com). VMWare is EXCELLENT. If you are serious about this, VMWare is incredible.
3 - I'm sure there is a linux backup utility that will replace your DOS one.
