I still have two Osborne-1's, an Osborne Executive, a dual 20MB 5 1/4" Bernoulli Box, and a Compaq SLT-286 laptop (with docking station) in my "old equipment locker" (g) along with a bunch of CP/M software manuals and about 30 8" single sided-single density floppies.

Worst part is, most of the machines still run...

>>When I hear that our Agency sometimes donates our old computers to schools, I cringe. This is about as useful as when someone asked me if I thought they could still use the old DOS CompuServe software [CIS] could be used for internet access so their stores would not have to buy at least 1 new computer wint Win9x on it.

>Right, obsolete stuff is exactly that - obsolete. It would be great to find a real use for some of it, but there probably isn't any.

I'll start: among other things, a 14" monitor, a 486/50MHz laptop computer, an IBM 360 Assembler Language reference manual (OK, that one has sentimental value), several year's editions of TurboTax, a DOS version of Quicken, a professional developer's version of MS-BASIC on 5 1/4" floppies, and a copy of Borland's Object Vision.
