If you're using SCX-based forms (not class-based) you may need to put the SET TALK OFF in the DataEnvironment as well, particularly if you're loading views. There's a "BeforeOpenTables" event which works just fine for this. Since you can't put DE code into a base class (no dataenvironment) I always forget this and at the last minute before a client visit I'm adding this code and recompiling the EXE.
