I worked on an IVR system a couple of years ago. We used VBVoice from Pronexus.

Their site lists the hardware they support.

We did have to do some code in VB but all of our data access was through VFP COM components. This allowed us to access our data that was in a FPW applcation and gave us the data access and processing speed needed that VB could not supply.

This arrangment worked well for us. We also used the same VFP COM components to serve up data to our web page.
