I have an app in VB6 that read data from a VFP6 database.
Obviously, I have to do pack after delete records. I build a VFP DLL that do pack to a specific table. Then, I build a package for distribution using VFP Setup Wizard. When I install this package in a non-development PC, the DLL doesn't works.
The DLL works good on a development PC, but not in a non-development PC. In the non-development PC, I try calling the DLL from a Access function, and I get an error: "ActiveX component can't create object". I try again compiling an VB App that uses my VFP Dll and generating its package for distribution. Then, I install it in the non-development PC and I get the same error: "ActiveX component can't create object".
It seems the DLL is not correctly registered or some like that. VFP Setup Wizard generates a package with the files needed, then, WHAT'S HAPPEN? Why the VFP DLL doesn't work?
Any help will be appreciated!!!!
