Phil,
I am sorry, I forgot to tell you this is VFP not VB.

I found the problem, I want to make the WindowType = 0(Modeless) while it is printing, so that the printing window would not come up to the screen.

For the preview I got to work set it to (report form ..... to preview nowait)
now I want to know how do do this for that little window comes up when you print something.

the MSDN help syas Object.WindowType[ = nType] will do it, but I dont know the name of the window.
