I don't know a great deal about the vfp5 setup/install, but from what I've read elsewhere, running the requisite dlls from a server or manually installing them should be avoided in vfp5/win95 environment. Whether this is for technical or aesthetic reasons I don't know, that's really what I was wondering (not so much whether it can be done, but why it shouldn't be done). (Not that I'm planning to do either, just trying to better understand things...) Can you shed any light on this?
