I want to order Tamar's book on Office Automation. If I order 3 books from Hentzenwerke, I can get a 10% discount. I'm looking for opinions on the following books:

Microsoft Office Automation with VFP (Granor/Martin)
Effective Techniques for Application Development (Booth/Sawyer)
Advanced Object Oriented Programming (Egger)
1001 Things You Wanted to Know about Visual FoxPro (Akins et al)
Creating VFP Applications with Visual FoxExpress (Archer/Jorden) (available soon)
Building Visual FoxPro Frameworks (McDaniel) (available ?)

Note: I already own the previous Hacker's Guide, an older Software Developer's Guide, and Rick Strahl's book on Internet Applications. I'm currently using VFE 5.0 but I'm unsure of whether to migrate to VFE 6.0.

The direction I would like to go with my development is to develop a VFP server app which communicates with a VFP client app using HTTP over a LAN or over the Internet. The server app might use VFP files or SQL files. The client app would use local VFP files as a sort of buffer. I assume that the server app and the client app would be based on different foundations. I might use someone else's foundation or roll my own.

Of course the above may be a bad idea but I will probably need to get part way into it before I'm convinced of that.

Most of my work in the timeshare resort industry and I'm assuming this is going to occupy me for some time to come. In other words I will be continually enhancing a large app rather than starting new apps from scratch.
