I want to use a clients temp path to place temporary files (makes sense). I can use

a) gettemppath() in kernel32.dll (thanks to UT API file),
b) hkey_Current_user\environment\temp in the registry (oops I don't have that in my registry?), or
c) sys(2023) which gets the foxpro temp path from the config file.

If it is not set in the config file, where does the VFP runtime get that value from? It seems to match the value in a) above. I checked the documentation and the hacker's guide and no more insight could be found.
