Short answer with Archive logging on yes, with it of only very recent transactions.

The transaction log on Oracle are called the Redo Logs (these are online)
then the data is moved into offline Archive Logs.

If you have archive logging turned on you can read the contents with the Log Miner packages.

If not the redo logs will be quickly overwriten so your transactions won't be in there for long.

You will want to read the Chapter on "Log Miner"
it came in Oracle 8i.
It is a set of packages that allow you to do just that.
I don't remeber the syntax...

There are also (expensive) third party tools (from revealnet or quest software??) that let you do it on older versions of oracle but I can't remember the name.

I would be very interested in hearing about your solution.

Try searching the comp.databases.oracle.server news group
I have seen many posts on this...
