Isn't it great to watch these really young kids learn? They soak up knowledge like a sponge! Of course, they've never had a blue-screen-of-death just as they were going to hit Save for their final paper due in 2 hours, or these 300 lines of massively way-cool code you just dreamt up...<s> No fears, just fun to those little guys. Heck, they even LIKE doing the same thing 400 times (I'm still living in fear of the Raffi video <g>).
That keyboard tutorial program will come in handy...teach 'em to type SOON. Keyboarding is now required to get out of many middle schools.
Wait'll your 3.5 yr old gets to be 11.5 -- my 6th grade daughter is now very computer literate, and types most of her papers. She emails her friends back in Knoxville, and is now an "expert" in email (she's a legend in her own mind <g>). Anyway, she'll watch over my shoulder sometimes, and if I hesitate for a nanosecond, she's right there with "MOM, you've got to click the SEND button, unless, of course, you want to save it in your drafts folder -- do a File | Save As. Are you done yet? If so, I need to email my friends, and after that, can we go to the mall?!" Nothin' like an 11 year old EXPERT helping Mom with stuff that Mom already knows...where are the Counter-Strike weapons when you need them!
