It has "always" been the case that when the currently selected file is at EOF() [like when you get a not found in the SEEK()], that a REPLACE in another file won't work. Assuming VFP, you could use optional syntax "repl temp.Cur12Mo with 0 IN TEMP" rather than explicitly selecting it.
