I have used a loadprint routine that looks at the local machines printers and reports the printers to the application's data server, thus devoping a list for the entire network!

very useful since local users tend to identify the network printers with their own local names !

BTW, did you ever figure out how to get w95 & w98 to print to \\mycomputer\myprinter while you are working at \\mycomputer ? I did with a ton of code, surely someone has a better method by now ?
