waybackwhen I had an early PC card, possibly a TecMar, that came with a 320k floppy. So what ? So that disk had comport drivers that actually did control xon, etc ! I used it to link an early PC to a mini, it worked quite well except that the printer defaults were different ( CR vs CR/LF ), so the combination wasted a lot of paper!

Those were the days !!

Sorry to say, I never saw MS drivers that were as good !
