Not only are the concepts critical to programming in today's world, but Markus is a very concise writer - I found it to be one of the best written technical books I have ever read. Depending on your level of OOP proficiency, this book, in my opinion, is an absolute must.

David thanks to you and Evan for this strong recommendation. I've been working with OOP for about three years but procedural thought patterns die hard. I can use all the help I can get.

I've already ordered the other 3 books I mentioned so I will put Markus's book as next on the stack.
