Can Front Page do this?
My client has a web page to get feedback from her clients. We want to upload that feedback data into her VFP5.0 database tables. She built the page in FrontPage (97 I think?). There are memo fields among the fields on the page, so they could contain embedded carriage returns. Because these carriage returns can give you a false 'end-of-record' indicator, we tried using a hidden field with a constant value of 'PQXZ' to differentiate it from any of the data from the users. This was working until we tried to control the order of the output fields from the 'save results' webbot using a second output file. Now we get commas where the hidden field would be, but no 'PQXZ'. Does anyone know if this can be done this way -- or maybe an easier way to get data into VFP when the page is on her provider's server and the client database in on another server?
TIA
