This software package we have runs fine under windows 95, 98 and NT until recently we are having problems with nt. We made an installation set for one of our clients and got down there and got errors left and right. What happens is if the user goes to our "preferences" screen when they exit it sets the path and the default to this other directory we call the tables path (contains specific versions of lookup tables). Once the user exits this screen and clicks on the menu at the top they get "Invalid path or filename" if they press ignore they can continue to use ths sytem normally. Any ideas what is going on? We have been able to duplicate these errors in house so it isnt a fluke of nature. Our program used to run fine on our nt machine until we did an install from this installation set.

The system this is happening on is Windows NT with service pack 4
