I have to provide one of my clients with a tool for his company pre-sale force that combined with the VFP system I built for them can work together. I was thinking of user some palmpilot, like visor or 3com and Satellite Forms from PUMATECH.
Questions for the experts here are:
(1) In you experience, will Visor (8megs.) and Satellite Forms be able to handle 3 tables at the same time with clients (500 records aprox), products (2500 recs.), prices (3000 recs.) ?
(2) Is there any other palm pilot os based device more rugged and robust that Visor ? Or at least any special case to protect the palm device considering that people using them is walking in the streets permanently ?
(3) Should I consider ThinkDB in these conditions? (I'm very curious why it cost less than 5% than Sat.Forms)
