It very impressive and does most of what I would like. (bandwith problems aside)
This technology is getting so close now I can taste it.
I say close because until it gets the same penetration as something like the telephone it is not truly here yet.
I am with Bill Gates on this one. Things like this must be in the operating system in order to speed up the adoption by the world as a whole.
So long as he lets other people share the channel then its a good thing.
But as AOL have proved when they stopped others entering the online chat market greed can stop growth as well as encourage it.
(At this point I had a brilliant idea. And wrote it out here in detail. But by the time I got to the end I decided not to share it with anyone) :)
dot.com IPO here I come :)
>Have you seen Groove? If you have some time, got to groove.net and download the 'transceiver'. It's a killer peer-to-peer application, but the coolest thing is- it's a development platform for writing collaboration applications. The product has just been released, and I think that they have a few issues to work out, but its very impressive. I couldn't help but thinking that this is technology that's going to change the world.
