As VFP programmers we have to justify ourselves to those who wonder why we aren't more main stream. I am currently putting together a paper to analyze where VFP, VB, Delphi and SQL server may be appropiate tools for our business application development and trying to document their relative merits.

I know this kind of thing must have been done by many before me. Any references would be appreciated.

I would also appreciated being pointed to information or possible source of information on the number of VFP, VB, Delphi developers there are in US, UK and Canada.
