John,

I'm not sure if I fully understand your situation, but you might try creating a parameratized view which is requeried when the item changes. Set the source of the combo to this view.

>I am using a view in a form. The view joins 3 tables (work order line item, item and item supplier). The work order line item table is updatable, the others are not. My problem is this. On an ADD, I want to populate a combo box with the supplier name based on properties of the item that was entered (certain suppliers supply certain item categories). The item number has been entered, but the properties (supplier category) are not brought into the view until it is requeried. This seems like a common scenario. I have solved it in the past using tables in relationships. How is the best way to handle this when using only views?
