How do I insure that the local workstation has the most current copy of all the records in a table in a multiuser environment.
The second parameter of the set refresh command controls how often the local buffers are updated with changes other users have made. We have a situation where we need to make sure that the workstation we are on has the most recent data from several tables. So, we can't rely on the refresh to have just updated the buffers. We need to force the buffers on the local workstation to be updated.
