Hi,
I am developing time attendance system for my company. However, the data are stored in MS Access Format. I am reuired to import it before doing any analysis and summary in VFP.
I face a problm that, it is really SLOW to import MS Access Data using remote view!!!! it takes about 4 minutes to import 106,500 records!!!! I tried to export all of thiese to TEXT FILE format and use APPEND FROM command to get the data, it is fast , 3 secs for 106,500 records (text file format).
What it happened? How should I solve my problem?
