Occassionally when running a visual foxpro 3.0 application the application will generate an error message 114 (Index does not match the table. Delete the index file and re-create the index) as a result of a corrupted index file.
I have built a re-index routine into the application, however it does not work when the above error message is generated because the database is invalid.
Is it possible to recreate the index programatically without getting the "database invalid, please validate" message from VFP?
