I just replaced my motherboard and fixed a problem with lockups. Now I have a problem with dots appearing on my screen. If I minimize or maximize an application the dots will go away, but a few seconds later they will start appearing.

Also, maybe once a day, my screen will display a text screen with a blue background and randomly colored text all over the screen. This will remain for a second or two and then the system will re-boot.

I am using NT 4.0 with service pack 3. The video card is a Trident 9680 with the latest drivers downloaded from Trident's web site.

Can anyone help?
