Hello Farouk!

Was it a networked application? As I experienced in most cases network speed (traffic) causes the bad performance. I always try to minimize the network communication requests.
At other hands, the configuration mentioned above, by me, is good for VFP exe.
The harddisk acces time (average and track to track seek time) is another factor that has affect for performance.

P.S. For testing reasons, I installed win95+vfp5 in a 386SX/20MHZ with 4MBRam and 170MB harddisk + network. It is unbelievble, but it works! Sometimes I thought it freez but only slow.
