There are ways to 'optimize' remote views if that is what you are talking about. There is an option for 'No Data on Load' that will open the view but not download data until you actually call for it. Or use Parameters to pull only a subset of the data. Also, make sure the views are based only on the fields that are actually needed rather than all fields within a table.
