Even if it was the 32,768 that you suggest Word and Excel allow, there would be some instances where that was not a high enough number and a work around would be required. You have a good work around and I compliment you on it. The fact that there is an actual limit below infinity is not, IMHO, an error. It's just a fact. If the limit was 100 pages or even 999 pages I would agree on it's practical limitation for most users but let's be serious. Most of us will never generate a printed report of 10,000 pages or above so the limitation seems pretty reasonable.

No problem. I myself think that even 32,768 much more than large enough. I wouldn't believe such a report would be needed unless I had seen it for myself. In hind sight it is more than likely to happen, at least like it did for me, in the political / governmental area. You know how they need 30,000 pages just to summarize a justice court case. <g> My only complaint that I have with MS acknowledging this problem or not is that I would like them to so that this solution (or one like it) can be documented in the knowledge base. After all its on of the first places that I look for information. However they will only acknowledge it over the phone.
