I am making a query for internet html page

If they select a big range for instance 1200 records
I display a page of 100 records
and on the bottom of the page they can select page 1 to 12

If the user is selecting a new page i reload the full 1200 records
and select the 100 records from that page.
This cost a lot off time

I tried to use TOP 100 but when i use select page 12 i still have to
load the hole selecting

Can someone help to select only a part off the basic selection
for instance record 201-300.
