Hi,

We have developed application in VFE 5 about 2 years back.

Now we are having performance problem.

we have parent and child form at form level. Parent table (contain) contains 50,000 (6 MB)records and child table(document) contains 65,000 (12 MB)records.

Programs files and data files are located at Server(NT Server) and workstation consists windows 98.

While single user is access the application, the programs takes 2 seconds for each transaction. If more than one user is accessing the same screen with different client systems, it takes about 45 seconds to finish each transaction. For your information, We are not using views.

What could be the reason for slow?
