See my earlier post to you. You have to edit your /etc/modules.conf (or conf.modules, whichever exists for you) and add the parameters for you network card so that when you boot or insmod ne2k the proper parameters are passed.
Once the card is functioning, then you can set TCP/IP information in /etc/sysconfig/network and /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/.
