This has no doubt been covered but I can't find the answer I need.

How do I get a return value from a function in another .app file?

I need to use something like:

DO SomeFunction IN "C:\functions\function.app" WITH lcInput

Things like these don't work.

lcReturn = DO SomeFunction IN "C:\functions...
lcReturn = SomeFunction IN "C:\functions...

Any help would be appreciated.
