I believe (not 100% sure) that if you include the debug info, it will increase the size of the executable. Visual Maxframe had a method in each class which described how to use that class. That is where they used the #IF ... #ENDIF idea. They didn't do it normally at all, just for that special instance. It would most likely destroy your readability to have those scattered all over the place :)
