I've been pretty impressed with the fairness of www.voter.com, which has a section on What the Candidates Stand For, as well as a well-respected tracking poll run jointly by a Democrat and a Republican. They also have a digest of recent news reports from all over the political spectrum.

As a former newspaperman, I like what I see at this site.
