Hi Mark,

Very true. With the applications I have developed using VFP - after initial reservations on mgmt's side with using the VFP - I have gained their respect both for my skills and also for the power of VFP and how well it fits into our environment. The lack of respect comes from those who generally have no idea what they are talking about (i.e. they no virtually nothing about VFP). That being the case - I generally don't let it bother me too much - but the lack of respect definately exists out there.

I believe it was someone else here at UT who said something like "I generally tend to ignore the opinions of the uninformed . . . " This is the position I take these days.
