Hi All,

I have a Samba shared Dot Matrix printer on a client's site which is working perfectly for most text that gets sent to it, however they have a need for the pound (£) sign to be printed and this is giving me some problems.

If I send a £ sign from VFP it comes out as #

I changed the program to send a chr(156) instead but that is coming out as an underscore now.

I've tried printing a test line of £'s from a DOS box (Under W95) but the £ just appears to be being ignored.

Tried printing a test line of £'s from Linux and that works fine.

Any thoughts anyone?

TIA

Liam
