I put in the STRTOFILE command in the CCmdGetFile class and that works real neat. It shows that when I click on the elips the DisplayValues() method the method executes without the getfile() dialog opening. I put STRTOFILE() commands on all sides of the getfile() command and all of the STRTOFILE() commands are in the text file. But what does that all mean? Now that I have this knowledge what can I do to fix the problem? Is there something wrong with my install of VFP? Should I try to re-install it and see what happends or is it a missing fll that getfile() uses? Remember that if I run the program from with VFP it runs fine.

In the STRTOFILE() commands, write out informative messages to a text file. This is also a great technique when debugging COM Servers!
