>No that didn't work. Please allow me to explain again. I don't have the web application. I only have the web server files created when the entire solution was created at an eariler time. My friend zipped up only the web server files ( he works in master mode) and sent them to me. I created a virtual directory on my iis 5.0 server and can Internet Explorer to all of his work. But now I want to see his site diagram and utilize the interdev IDE to edit his files as an entire application. When I tried your last suggestion I did not see his files ( installed in a virtual directory on my machine) available in the dropdown to connect to. Does that make sense? In summary: I am working backwards. I am attempting too build an interdev project from only web server files that were created using interdev at an earilier time.

The only choice you have is to create an new Interdev project and add the files you have to it.
