Thanks, Trey. This wasn't exactly the problem, but your talking about RowSource made me try a different RowSourceType and lead me to a solution.

I was using a RowSourceType = 9 (pop-up), since I already had a popup up ready. It says in the doc that this is for "backwards-compatibility", and I guess it probably has a bug in it. It corrupted my pop-up, in fact. So I changed the RowSource to an array and copied the popup therein, and voilà! it works. And it pulls down too.
