I’m having an error connecting to Oracle server. I created my connections and then set the views the way I need.
Now opened my connection designer and when I ‘validate connections’ I get a “the query timeout cannot be set” and then “connection succeeded”
I’m using VFP 5 to Oracle 7. The drivers are Oracle drivers.
Connection (sec) 120
Idle (min) 0
Query (sec) 0
Wait time (ms) 100
I did a search but did not find any information on this. The help file has this to say: “The connection query timeout cannot be set by the ODBC driver. The connection will use the default driver defined query timeout.”
But even after I change this I get the same error.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
