What happens is that when Unload is reached, internal objects have already released; only form properties still remain. During the Unload process, the form properties are freed as well, so yes, you have the right idea. You might want to pick up a copy of either Jim Booth and Steve Sawyer's "Effective Techniques..." or "Hacker's Guide to VFP6" from Hentzenwerke - www.hentzenwerke.com - both have good discussions of the sequence of event firings during the life of a form.
