No idea, I've never looked at personal Oracle. We have the enterprise package, thats all I'm familiar with. I'm actually getting comfortable with Oracle's development tools, thou I perfer Visual Studio.
As for future development, there is none, in 15 working days the programming department (me and antoher guy) ceases to exist. Along with database/application adminstration(me as well), web services ,IT training and IT procurement. I belive other departments are also layting off every one they can.

>Is Personal Oracle an option for future development work? I use that here and at home.

>>Thanks for your input. Sadly, I've tried all of that. The problem was the system tables were the ones to go. With them went most of what was needed to recover the database. I have it sort of running at present though. As it was not a production database, it can be removed and recreated, but that would cost us our recovery catalog for all our other databases.
