Right. That's just what I had to do. I had to search for the xxxxx in order to find an empty record set.

It just seems that with all the changes M$ did when VFP3 was released they could've put some common behavior found in other RDBMS Engines - Or at least some similiar features found in $QL $erver when you access it through ODBC.
