Hi everyone -- don't know if anyone has time to help with this.

I'm having trouble "getting" UDP Protocols. I downloaded REMHOST -- but for some reason cannot follow it. It must be a mental block. So I have two requests.

Can someone write me an ultra-simple toy level UDP example -- maybe a host and a client? If the client sends "Are you there" , the host replies "I'm here"; if the client sends anything else --replies "I don't understand you".

If anyone would so something on these lines I'd be very greatful -- if not, ( or as an addition) can someone direct me to additional UDP/Winsock control VFP documentation?
