Hi,
I'm trying to use the name/value pair for buttons to control flow in my single page ASP. When the same ASP is reentered, sometimes a button's name/value is available for an if...then test, sometimes not. When it works, it always works. But for some reason, in some cases, the request("mybutn") is empty even tho "mybutn" was the button that submitted the form.

It doesn't seem to matter whether type= "submit" or "button". Am I missing something about getting the button's value using request("name")?
