MC> Moralistic issues aside, Clinton has done no better or worse than any other president since I've been old enough to be aware of who's president. They're all polititians and fairly interchangeable. My goal is to get the one in office that I dislike the least.
JH> You're right, moral issues don't really matter do they? Be mad if you will, I'm simply pointing out that voting for the third party candidate is an exercise in futility. Hopefully, the shoe is on the other foot this time around, and the liberals that jumped to wacko Nader, helped Bush. Yes, there is a God!
I never said moral issues don't matter. They happen to be very important to me. If I could do it again with what I know _now_, I would not have voted for Clinton. But given what I knew _then_, I don't consider it a mistake.
As to third party voting being an exercise in futility, that all depends on your goals. If you believe you will get your candidate elected in these times, you're delusional. If your goal is to get the attention of the big two on your issues, then you have a chance.
In the end, it's my vote and I will do what I want with it.
