There can be some very nasty issues with Novell. First of all, the latest Client from Novell is not always the best. 3.1 was very stable for most apps. One thing to look at is the Cache setting of the Novell client. Turn it off! Another thing to look at is the version of the Turbo fat file on the Novell server. Do a search on Novell's web site for Foxpro and corruption and you should see a bunch of tech articles.

One other thought... Make sure you are not using full duplex with 100meg ethernet cards. Full duplex does not do any error checking. The client I had actually reduced the nodes to half duplex and saw a significant improvement in network traffic due to the reduction retranmitted packets.
