Again, i have already tried that. infact, i uninstalled all visual studio products including the libraries (vfp,vb,vss) and reinstalled and still the problem reoccured. after reinstalling my os and then installing vb the problem went away for about a day, but surfaced again.
is there a component that vb uses to load the extra components into vb???
