Doug,

Thanks for the response. I went ahead and validated the database and "validated the Meta Data" and various steps. Everything went fine until I ran the re-indexing routine. Three tables came up with the message dialog, but when I re-ran the validate database routine, lots of things were wrong.

I rebuilt the DBC from code, deleted all sdt meta tables and then rebuilt the sdt meta data, and still had a problem. I guess upgrading is a worthwhile step to take -- I've already spent about 4 hours on this.

This could happen in SDT 5.0 if the DBC isn't in good shape (ie. it needs VALIDATE DATABASE) or if something goes wrong during the reindex process.

I'm don't recall it being a known issue in 5.0, but 5.1 does things differently and handles problems more gracefully, so you might want to consider upgrading.
