Just because lots of people use it doesn't mean that the UI is acceptable. More interesting is that Florida law apparently requires the holes to be to the right of the candidate's name.

FWIW, I've heard of at least one case where a voting official refused to provide another. Don't know whether it's true or how much it happened. But, if true, it's clearly unacceptable.
As I said elsewhere, I think the real lesson from this election is that it's time to get rid of paper ballots altogether. Machines don't let you make this kind of mistake.
